•    Is time spent discussing preferences and special photographs with bride and groom prior to wedding day?
•    Do they have a wedding photograph portfolio?
•    Are they willing to wear appropriate attire?
•    Can the bride and groom provide a list of people with whom they want to be photographed or of whom they want pictures taken?
•    What type of wedding packages does the photographer offer?
•    What is the cost of overtime if the reception last longer than expected?
•    Does the photographer work with an assistant? If so, are there additional fees?
•    Does the photographer have backup equipment in the event of a mechanical failure?
•    In the event the photographs do not turn out, what are the specifications of the contract?
•    What are the number of proofs the photographer will supply and who owns them?
•    Who owns the negatives or digital files? If photographer, how long will they be retained?
•    What is the payment schedule?
•    What is the cancellation policy, in the event the wedding is delayed or canceled or if the photographer asks to void the contract.
